Intermediate Spanish
Maybe you took a couple of years of Spanish back in high school or have been traveling to Spanish speaking countries for the past few years and can “get along OK” in Spanish but are still uncomfortable with conversations.
The Intermediate Spanish Class is designed to improve your ability to speak Spanish and begin having short but understandable conversations with people.
1)Review of the Spanish alphabet;
2)Review of the days of the week and months of the year;
3)Make sure you know how to count in Spanish; (good for money issues)
4)Expand on the nouns, verbs, phrases and sentences; You move to the next step beyond Basic Spanish so you can begin having brief but understandable conversations. We even set aside time in each class for you to ask “how do you say” questions you may have. Learn Spanish your way!

Note: Idioms, proverbs and colloquial expressions are the heart and soul of languages. Impossible to guess, and easily misunderstood, they are the real tickets to talking like a local. At MLI, you will learn local Paisa idioms and phrases with references to local places and events.
Plan to attend our Weekly Sunday BBQ Mixers where you get to practice your Spanish with our female Paisa English students and they get to practice their English with you!
